A hotel room that includes a hot tub is commonly referred to as a “hot tub suite” or “whirlpool suite.” Some people use the term “Jacuzzi suite,” though this technically refers to a room that includes a tub manufactured by the Jacuzzi® brand. These rooms are typically designed for comfort, romance, or special occasions.

A spa tub usually refers to a deeper, often jetted tub designed for relaxation and hydrotherapy. These tubs may feature:

  • Built-in water jets

  • Whirlpool or massage features

  • Temperature control features

Spa tubs may be located in your private room or in shared wellness areas, depending on the hotel.

There are several easy ways to browse on Tubshotel:

  1. Visit our homepage and select your State or Location from our listings or the navigation menu.

  2. Use our “Hotels with Hot Tub in Room” navigation category to browse by city or region.

Use the Search Bar to type your destination.

The word “hot tub” is a general term for any heated tub used for soaking or relaxation.
“Jacuzzi” is a brand name that produces jetted whirlpool tubs.

So:

  • All Jacuzzis are hot tubs

  • But not all hot tubs are Jacuzzis

This distinction is important when searching for specific amenity requirements.

We compile hotel information carefully from hotel and booking platforms. However, because hotels sometimes change room layouts or availability, we always recommend confirming directly with the hotel or booking site before you finalize your reservation.

Generally, yes, rooms with private whirlpool or spa tubs tend to cost more due to the enhanced relaxation features and maintenance required. However:

  • Prices vary based on location, season, and hotel category.

Special offers, weekday stays, or advance bookings may reduce the cost.

Absolutely. Many travelers choose these rooms for:

  • Anniversaries

  • Birthdays

  • Romantic surprises

  • Honeymoons

  • Proposals

Hotels may also offer romance packages, champagne setups, or petals — just ask them directly after booking.

Not exactly.

  • A Jacuzzi refers specifically to a brand of jetted tub.

  • A spa may refer to a wellness center, massage facility, or a non-jetted soaking tub.

They share similarities, but the terms are not interchangeable.

Take breaks, stay hydrated, and exit immediately if you feel:

  • Light-headed

  • Overheated

  • Dizzy

If you have medical conditions, consult a doctor before extended use.
